Week 70 in Uruguay: "Los Milagros en la Lluvia"
Los Milagros en la Lluvia
Martes - Miercoles
Was insane! We were in a huge storm! It was raining like crazy! We finally began teaching this guy named Marcelo. We began teaching him and it started to rain even harder. We read a scripture and as soon as I said repent ye, a huge lightning bolt hit the light pole in front of us! It was insane! It shook everything and it was so bright. Now we are a little nervous to call people to repent, but the charla was awesome. We were led by the Spirit the whole night and we found 9 people. Wednesday it rained as well. It hit about 8:00pm so we still had an hour left. It was super windy and we were soaked! We got yelled at, at the last door. We said a prayer and touched the next house. A Peruvian dude walks out, looks at us and says, come in. It was a miracle! The charla was so spiritual. It was amazing!
Jueves – Viernes
We had our interviews with President. A funny story was our President showed up over an hour late (long story). We taught Angel again. He loves dogs so you already know we mesh well together and we are coordinating a day to go do a basketball clinic with the kids. Friday, I got to work with the man, the myth, the legend, Elder Lloyd! I freaking love this kid. We definitely have too much fun! Our contacts are the best because it’s more natural. I love that kid! That night with everyone we had rap battles.
Sabado – Domingo
Sabado we taught this familia and they are so cool. We taught them L1 and I got to give the 1st Vision. The spirit was so strong! That night we sang songs in the park. It was for “Light the World” There were so many people. After we bought ice cream and of course Elder Lloyd buys 3 scoops, such a Capo! Sunday was so hot, but we had a good day.
Remember the spirit of Christmas is gratitude! Be giving and become more like Christ. “Give as He Gave”

Week 69 in Uruguay: "Service = True happiness
12/3/18-12/10/18
Service = True Happiness
Tuesday – Wednesday
We went to Rio Branco to do interviews for the investigators of Elder Halls and Elder Johnson. I interviewed a guy named Carlos. This guy went from nothing to everything! Seriously a miracle! He started off by telling me how he knows this church is true. It was pretty special. He told me a lot of things and I know the power of the Atonement has touched his life! That night we played a jellybean game. Luckily, I didn’t lose but my comp almost threw up haha, it was pretty fun. Also, I cut Elder Halls hair! (not too shabby)
Thursday - Friday
We painted and cleaned a house all morning. It was a little tiring but super fun though. The members were super funny as they danced to some music being played. After, we went out and had to chop Mari Sol from our teaching list. Friday, we found a ton of people. We taught a person named Gustao, he is awesome! We taught a 20 minute lesson to someone who seemed really interested and then just at the very end says, well to be honest I am not that interested, lol. I was so mad. I was like for real, like that 20 minutes we were talking you didn’t feel anything. After, we played ball with Axel. It was awesome! I miss ball, can’t wait to play again. We found this lady that was so nice at first but then went off on politics. She got so mad at us. It was crazy! My comp said some things to her that were pretty funny. He was a savage! We also listened to the craziest prayer. There was a lot of yelling and hand throwing, crazy night!
Saturday - Sunday
We made a floor to put in a house! My hands were wrecked but it was super awesome! We found a foot long worm, it was so nasty! After we taught a couple of lessons. We then had to do a lot for the zone. Sunday, we found five new people to teach, it was so awesome! An inactive member that I found with William is now active and made us a full on Torta! (cake) It was so good! We taught a cowgirl and then a new family. In church, the bishop told me that BYU beat Utah! Let’s Go Baby! Cougar Nation! Shout out to Yoeli and Zac for having a killer night!

Week 68 in Uruguay: "God Does Listen"
11/26/18-12/3/18
"God Does Listen”
"God Does Listen”
Monday - Tuesday
Well, we had an awesome P-Day in BRAZIL! My Portuguese is getting better and better haha! We got done with our free time and headed out to work. I had the weirdest feeling to just stop and say a prayer for guidance. We said a prayer and an overwhelming feeling came to me that we needed to go to this lady's house. Someone we haven’t ever taught or planned for! We obeyed the prompting to go to her house and she was waiting for us outside with two chairs and a Book of Mormon. We started to talk to her and she told us her friend called her that morning and told her she was prompted to tell her that the missionaries were going to pass by that day and to prepare for them! Oh my gosh that hit me so hard. God really does listen and He wants us to succeed! We had a really spiritual charla. I was definitely in tears! Super cool day.

Wednesday - Thursday
We had someone yell at us haha, a guy that was drunk got mad and came up and told us to leave or he would "make us”. We didn't leave for a second and he pushed me! I felt prompted to tell him that God loves him and that he wants him to change so he can return back to live with his family. We shared a scripture and this guy changed. He gave us a hug and told us he loved us and he had been waiting for someone to tell him that. We ended up teaching him a full lesson and all we had to do is show our love! Do our part to change someone's day!
Friday - Sunday
Friday we had "Jedi Council" with President Eddy. Super cool. Saturday, we did a service activity for the children's hospital. We decorated the hospital for Christmas and then we were able to show the kids. Ahh, your heart can never feel true joy unless you are serving others and seeing their faces light up like they did. It made it all worth it! Sunday was filled with a lot of studying. William now has a suit! He has changed his whole life, such a capo! We taught 2 people, 2 fechas. My comp, love him!!!
