Week 63 in Uruguay: "Duby Got Baptized!"

10/22/18-10/29/18

Duby Got Baptized!

Tuesday - Wednesday
I left with the newbie of the mish, Elder Lloyd! It was dope!! We had so much fun. It was so natural talking with people. The Lord was guiding us! Well, we had a charla with William. Elder Lloyd and I both testified about the Savior and what He has done for us. I freaking love William! The Spirit was so strong. How awesome is our Church that we have hope and we know we will be with our families otra vez! After we had a charla with Duby. Holy miracle... He almost got kicked out of his house because he doesn't money and a member showed up and gave him the money! Fasting, prayer, and faith brings blessings!!! To finish the day, we went to Joaquin/Gaston's house and had a fun charla with him. Talked about Diezmos! Wednesday I woke up early with Elder Lloyd and we played basketball. It was so cool! Miss all so much!! Can't wait for the season with the Cougs!

Thursday - Friday
Well, we took a bus at 2 in the morning and got ourselves mentally prepared to listen to the Profeta! The Spirit was so intense. I loved it! When President Nelson walked in, it was like heaven opened up! The Spirit was so strong. We sang a song for the Profeta about how we as missionaries are doing the work of the Lord. I legit got chills from my head to my toes! It was like I was floating. The Spirit was so amazing! Ahhh this gospel is more than true!! It's life! Elder Stevenson and President Nelson talked about families and staying on the path. So I am saying... stay on the path! It's going to get hard guys, so please... grow your testimony now. Don't wait! Friday, I got to work in my oro area (my first area). It was amazing! I saw Julio!! Then saw Mia and Valentine! We taught Bruno and we had such a spiritual lesson with him. We talked a lot about families being together forever! I really gained a strong testimony about that. How cool is this guys, we can be together with our families forever. Why wouldn't you want that? It's a huge blessing and all God requires is that we follow the path. It's not that hard and the blessing is greater!

Saturday - Sunday
Duby got baptized!! I was able to baptize him! The Spirit was super strong. Duby was so awesome, asking... will all my sins be gone? Love that guy!! I got a call from my first area that the person we passed by, that I had the feeling to stop and talk to, is going to be baptized... miracles! We spent the night emptying buckets hahahah. We had to drain the baptismal font with buckets. We got soaked! Of course...I fell in! haha!

Well remember, "You don't find happiness, you make it! Do your part and God does His." Always, always, remember God loves you!
