Tuesday - Wednesday
Well we taught Walter and he has gone off the deep end. He is crazy. He said some pretty messed up things and then started saying things about my family and future family! Yeah had to cut ties with him. It felt very satanic. No one should say stuff like that. He is a strange man. Pray for him. Later, we finally got to teach Sophia and her family again. We taught them Alma 34 and how Today is the day! Love that saying. After, we taught Karina. She was super nice and made us torta. We taught them about how she needs to trust God more. The spirit was so strong. My companion bore a killer testimony! That night we taught Fabiana. She is a vegetarian and drilled us for eating meat lol. I’m sorry but I like meat! haha. Wednesday, we had a zone conference and learned a ton. It was great. Later we taught Fabiana, her friends, and a new person. I felt the spirit to change the lesson we had planned to eternal families. I bore my testimony and wow the spirit was so strong. Everyone was crying including me. I know, I’ve gone soft. Later, we got a text from Fabiana saying thank you. Her friend that we were teaching lost her son two weeks ago. She told Fabiana to tell us that’s what she needed to hear. Please listen and ACT on that small voice. That night I got a text from an investigator lol. Let’s just say she pronounced her love for me. Super uncomfortable and awkward!
Thursday - Friday
Thursday, my comp and I had a goal to give out 3 Book of Mormons, we ended the day by giving out 6 Book of Mormons. So cool! We also taught a young girl, who is super sweet, but she roasted my comp a few times. Super funny though. We then had a charla with the investigator that wouldn’t even look at me lol. So so awkward. (Person who told me they loved me.) We definitely had a member come with us lol. To end the night, we found Maicol!! My comp gave the best testimony ever! I can see the change in Maicol’s eyes. Ahh the Gospel is so cool! Later, I did an interview for someone to be baptized, it was awesome! After, we ordered pizza. My comp is still having a hard time so please pray for him.
Saturday - Sunday
Well, Uruguay futbol is insane here! We can’t ever get into houses because of the World Cup that is going on. It’s insane. So much country pride! People paint faces, fireworks, it’s so loud but it’s so cool, not going to lie! We got told by so many people this saying, “I already have my religion, it’s Uruguay futbol” lol, it was pretty funny. Well, to pass the time, my companion and I did rap battles in the street, it was actually way cool. We invited someone to be baptized and pushed a car up the hill. I also had the chance to pray with a lady in the street that was crying. She told us she felt such peace. Sunday, we give a blessing to a member. Super cool, first blessing with (mijo!) It reminded me of the first blessing I gave with “my dad” Elder Bailey haha. Man, I miss that dude. Well, after we taught a bunch of kids with Fabiana and watched a video. It was awesome. Some of the kids fell asleep but it was still awesome. Please read Alma 26:27 “He will comfort us and give us success“
